Cache Coffee Community Impact — Logan, Utah
FREE THANKSGIVING DINNER
Seven years ago, Jamie and Mindie Buttars started something simple: a free Thanksgiving dinner for anyone in the community who needed it. No strings attached. No questions asked. Everyone is welcome at our table.
What started as a small gathering in their South Logan coffee shop — feeding about 200 people — has grown into one of the most anticipated community events in Cache Valley. In 2022, Cache Coffee served 2,500 plates of food to neighbors, veterans, seniors, families, and anyone who needed a warm meal.
"No one should go hungry or eat alone on Thanksgiving."
— Jamie Buttars
Every year on Thanksgiving Day from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, the Cache Valley Eagles Hall at 170 West 900 North in Logan fills up. The menu is full Thanksgiving: turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, and pie. In 2025 alone, the effort included more than 65 turkeys.
Delivery is available for those who can't make it in person — reach out to Cache Coffee ahead of time to arrange it.
