Cache Coffee & More — Logan, Utah
VETERAN SUPPORT PROGRAMS
Veterans have given enough. Supporting them is the least we can do. From our shop in Logan, Utah, to deployed units overseas — here is how we show up for the men and women who served.
Veterans Game Nights — Every Friday
Every Friday night, Cache Coffee hosts a dedicated Game Night for veterans. Isolation is one of the biggest threats facing those who have served. We built a community hub where men and women can show up, socialize, and simply not be alone with people who understand.
Many veterans have also brought in personal military memorabilia and tokens that are now displayed throughout the café — creating a living memorial to those who served.
KSL: "Logan coffee shop owner works to break stigma around men's mental health"A Mental-Health Message That Reached Beyond Cache Valley
In August 2024, FOX 13 reported that Jamie and Mindie Buttars were invited to attend Jelly Roll's Salt Lake City concert and meet him backstage. The station connected the invitation to Cache Coffee's Safe Storage Program and the mental-health message behind it.
According to Cache Coffee, the Buttars attended as personal guests and brought three veteran families to the concert. This was a guest experience, not a sponsorship, endorsement, commercial partnership, or formal affiliation.

A Relationship Built Around Veteran Support
Conservative Ant, an online creator, stopped by Cache Coffee after hearing about the work we do for veterans. The visit grew into a genuine friendship and an ongoing collaboration.
Together, we created two Cache Coffee offerings: Ant Patriot Roast and Ant Freedom Roast. The collaboration is about showing up for people, respecting different perspectives, and building a stronger community around the work that matters.
Music for Veteran Suicide Prevention
On April 11, 2026, Cache Coffee helped bring Overtime's Modern Day Outlaw Tour to Logan for a concert centered on fighting veteran suicide and raising mental-health awareness. Overtime, Durte, and fellow artists made the night possible for the local community.
The event announcement designated a portion of ticket proceeds to support IGY622 (I Got Your 6) and Cache Coffee's Safe Storage Program. IGY622 supports veterans and other service-community members facing mental-health challenges.
The relationship also led to a product collaboration: Overtime Medium Roast Coffee, created by Cache Coffee for Overtime.

Veterans Breakfast — Annual
On the Sunday closest to Veterans Day, Cache Coffee hosts a dedicated Veterans Breakfast. It's our way of honoring the local veteran community in Cache Valley — bringing people together over good food and strong coffee to say thank you.
Safe Firearm Storage
Anyone in a mental health crisis can bring their firearms to Cache Coffee to be stored safely — no police involvement, no risk of confiscation — until they're in a better place. As of June 2026, Cache Coffee operates 44 gun safes, almost full. Jamie has held firearms for individuals for as long as four years.
This program was started after two of the Buttars' close friends died by suicide. It has been featured nationally on ABC News and Good Morning America.
Free VA Disability Resource
Navigating the VA system shouldn't be a battle. Cache Coffee created a free online tool designed to help veterans with disability-related claims and support. 100% free. Built specifically for the veteran community.

Stateside, we have a long history of donating and sending coffee directly to VA facilities across the country — particularly in Salt Lake City and other major hubs — working directly with social workers to get coffee to veterans receiving care.
